If you are running 10.4 or 10.5 on your Apple, it is time to update. Security Update 2009-003 / Mac OS X v10.5.8 patches several vulnerabilities that can compromise your system. This is one that you should be patching sooner than later. If you want more info on what the vulnerabilities are go to http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3757 otherwise, just run the software update utility. Remember, you’re Apple is more secure than a Windows computer, BUT it is in no way immune to hacking. You should still have your computer behind a router, as a router is your best fist line of defense.
